Guess Who Poo-poo'd in the Potty??

We had this "poo-poo prize" ready for Kendall when the big moment came-she picked it out all by herself out of every candy at Walgreens....trust me when I say I TRIED to lean her towards candy that did not weigh as much as she did.
Kendall poo-poo'd in the potty!! Woo-hoo!! This was right afterwards. Kelsey wants it.
Using her new dot paint markers.....super-fun and washable!!
Concentrating.

A Little Bit of Snow in Lubbock

Well, it really was not alot but I milked it for all it was worth so that Kendall could play in it. We had a good time. I taught her how to make snowballs to eat and to throw at Mommy. She loved throwing them at Mommy more than eating them. She belly laughed every time and I loved it!

My snow bunny!
Eating snow......
.....and spitting it back out!

Playing

Here are some random "playing" pictures I have been meaning to post for a while.
Hayden, a friend in Kendall's class, had us over to play back in December. I also teach his sister Sydney, who is in the background. Kendall is sharing with Ashton.
Caden and Kendall watching Monsters Inc.
Getting sleepy at the end!
We met Anastyn, Jackson and Indie at the Science Spectrum. This is the only good shot I got. Anastyn and Kendall are riding in the car while Anasyn's Mommy pushed it.

Too cute not to share...

What Kendall INSISTED on wearing when she found out Caden was about to come over and play. A pink leotard with brown patent leather loafers.....what a style icon.

At the Tech/UT Basketball Game

Jay went online and found lots of family-friendly pre-game festivities we knew Kendall would just love. However, she napped a little too long so all we got in was the game! She had a great time too and got to eat some popcorn and chocolate.

Grown-Up Girl Bonding Day

Jay was out of town most of the week and Kendall and I still were not feeling 100% from the weekend. So, we decided to stay home and do "girl stuff". Kendall picked out her own outfit, we fixed each other's hair, made chocolate chip muffins, colored pictures, went shopping real quick at Wal-Mart (gotta have wipes...), painted our fingernails, watched a princess movie, made a big girl lunch ( baked potatoes and fruit salad), played lots of dress up, and mainly just bummed around! We do all of these things alot, just usually not ALL in the same day! Ha!

Updates...finally!

Let me just first explain what we have been doing and why I still feel like a crazy woman. We have been doing lots of traveling and it has been lots of fun but boy are we pooped:
  • We went to Plano Dec23-27.
  • Went to San Angelo on the 29th.
  • My parents and brother came to Lubbock on the 30th (my birfday).
  • Jay left for the Cotton bowl on Jan1 and at the same time Kendall and I flew back to AZ with Cece and Grandandy until Jan5.
  • Went back to work/school on Jan6 and Jan8.
  • I got the flu on Friday Jan9.
  • Kendall got a small case of it as well on Jan10.
  • Here we are today.
  • Jay left today until late Wednesday, but not before graciously, finally, helping take down our dusty Christmas tree.
I have split up posting Christmas pictures by where we were city-wise because I am just like that. Made me feel more organized in my crazy world. Enjoy. Goodnight! Oh, and I have lots of good videos too...hopefully I will upload them soon! :-)

Scottsdale Christmas

This was such a fun, last minute night! My mom and I drove by this train earlier that day shopping, decided to come back that night, and it turned into hours of exhausting fun!
Cece, Kendall and Grandandy on the mini-train ride. None of us had the energy to wait in the loong line for the big one...next year for sure!!!

Cookie Monster and Elmo! We also saw Winnie the Pooh, The Cat in the Hat, Shrek, and a few others.

Lubbock/San Angelo Christmases

Christmases? Is that right? Sounds wierd...anyways! Jay and I did our own Christmas with Kendall in Lubbock....went to San Angelo...then did Christmas in Lubbock again with Cece, Grandandy and Uncle John. Here is a random smorgasbord of all events in no particular order because I am tired of blogging.
Modeling a new shirt for Mommy and watching her new train from Santa.
Kendall got awesome new pink golf clubs from Uncle John...her fave first game? Holding the club while throwing balls in the street for Grandandy to fetch!
Modeling her new scarf, and, see it? STILL holding her jingle bell from Santa on the Polar Express. Told 'ya she was hooked on it!
John helping Kendall open her new airplane
John...taking a video of me...taking a picture of him....with the new video camera Jay and I got him! Confusing enough??
Opening her golf clubs while Daddy is in the background doing dirty work as usual. He is assembling her new Dyson vaccum from Cece and Grandandy that is JUST like Mommy's!
What do I do again? She got a little flustered every time the dead grass stuck on her new Levis or Crocs. What a little lady.
Lips watering to try on her new lip gloss from Santa.
Ring-Around-The-Rosy with cousin Faith in San Angelo
On the porch with Granny
Trying out each others new electronics...
Posing...or their best attempt!
Thanks for a wonderful Christmas Cece, Grandandy, Uncle John, Faith, Faye and Granny!

Plano Christmas

Christmas in Plano...Most of the pics I got of family here are the most unflattering ever for everyone involved (because we are wearing HUGE blue parkas)...however, every other picture I had pretty much had Kendall running around aimlessly, the back of her head, or a mean face meant to say "stop taking my picture!" Anyways, we had a great time! Went to the "Ice Exhibit" which was unbelievable, saw lots of Christmas lights, went shopping, watched movies, went out to eat, played games, and of course opened TONS of presents!!

Kendall and Mommy in their beautiful parkas...Kendall could not walk alone, hers was so big!
Kendall and Uncle Duke ("Luke", as she called him!)

Feeding her baby Christmas morning
Enjoying her new tent
Is there a doctor in the house?
The Family Picture! Kendall was trying to run away, which explains why I am almost tackling her to the floor...if she tried to run away, she would fall flat down and just wobble there since the jacket was so big and thick!
Thanks for a great Christmas Mimi, PawPaw, Aunt C, Duke and Fredlyn!!!
